Colleges partner to offer business program in Three Hills

Bow Valley College (BVC) and the Prairie College of Applied Arts and Technology (PCAAT) have signed a partnership agreement to offer a Business Administration Diploma program in Three Hills, Alberta.

Attend the Oldtimers’ Hockey Challenge

Whether you’re a fan of hockey or simply looking for a fun night out with your family, the 21st Oldtimers’ Hockey Challenge has something for everyone.

On March 24, NHL hockey legends will face off against the City of Calgary fire and police departments. The Current has tickets to the event and the first five people to email wgomez@bowvalleycollege.ca can nab four tickets to enjoy this family-friendly evening.

The third person to email for tickets will receive two VIP tickets, which will grant them entrance into the post-game reception to meet all of the players.

When: Wednesday, March 24 at 7 p.m.

Career Exploration Day doubles in popularity

Bow Valley College held its second annual Career Exploration Day on March 5 for current and prospective students. The event showcased the College’s many career programs, upgrading options and support services while providing a wealth of information to visitors.

Celebrate International Women’s Day with Sharon Carry

Bow Valley College is sponsoring International Women’s Day on Friday, March 5th, 2010 at the Central Library. The event will celebrate the exceptional women who make a difference in Alberta and around the globe. Free lunch will be provided to those who are in attendance while they enjoy a speaker’s panel featuring several prominent Albertan women, including Sharon Carry, President and CEO, Bow Valley College.
The College has 50 reserved seats for the event. Staff and students are encouraged to take in the panel presentations and enjoy free lunch. Simply show a Bow Valley College identification card at the entrance to the theatre. Get there early (11:30 a.m.) to get a good seat and lunch.
